Area Agency on Aging 3 is announcing the following job opportunities.   All resumes are kept on file for six months. 

 
CRC Specialist 1
Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to, route calls to proper staff, assist individuals through Long Term Care Questionnaire, link individuals through Support Navigation to resources, services and opportunities to maintain greatest independence, find referral sources, schedule assessments, collect intake information and complete detailed documentation in the OBLTSS system.

Qualifications: Current RN or LSW in the state of Ohio preferred. At least One year experience in Home and Community Based Service and knowledge of the aging network strongly desired. Must have a valid driver's license, access to an automobile and insurance at least meeting the minimum requirements of state law.

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities: Include general ledger, billing/ request for funds, budgeting along with preparing financial statements and program reports.  Position also includes some payroll functions, grant compliance, audit preparation and other accounting duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3+ years of accounting experience.  Good oral and written communication skills along with strong accounting computer skills and knowledge are required.  Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Passport/AL Care Manager

Responsibilities: include but not limited to develops/coordinates/manages care plan for services. Advocates for services and benefits, conduct family/service provider case conferences, arrange for service delivery, and reassess needs and services for care. 

 

Qualifications: RN or LSW required, 1 year's prior experience in community health care, general knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and community resources needed. Great communication skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, be organized and detail oriented in a fast pace environment and computer experience is a must. Applicant must have the ability to telecommute and have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance.

Volunteer Positions: Board of Trustees & Advisory Council

The Area Agency on Aging 3 is always on the lookout for members of our governing bodies.

Our advisory council members meet the third Wednesday, every other month at 10:00am in our agency office. They serve to represent lifestyles and cultures of each county we serve and assist us in meeting the needs of this area’s seniors.

The Board of Directors consists of 11 members, 1 from each of our 7 counties and 4 who are considered at-large. Appointments are for 3-year terms. The board directs the business of the agency and represents the employees and individuals we serve.
